# Holakare pricing One paid plan, one subscription per household, and a free tier that stays usable. Prices are in USD and set through the App Store, so local currency and tax follow Apple's regional pricing. **Nothing on this page can be bought yet.** The iOS app is not currently on the App Store (see [Availability](#availability)). These are the plans and prices we intend to offer when it returns; they may change before release, and the price shown in the app before you buy is the one that applies. This page describes the plans; the [Terms of Service](https://holakare.com/terms/) govern. ## Plans | Plan | Price | Trial | | --- | --- | --- | | Free | 0.00 USD | — | | Holakare Family | 29.99 USD / year | 14 days free | **One subscription covers the whole household.** Entitlement is derived from the family, not the person: if any member subscribes, every caregiver in that household gets the paid features. A second parent does not need their own subscription, and accepting a family invite never requires one. ## What the free tier includes Unlimited, on every tier: - Patients — a household tracks everyone it cares for - Medicines and the medicine cabinet - Doctors and health centers - Visits - Text Quick Logs — symptoms, temperature, notes Capped on the free tier: - **2 active treatments.** Completed, stopped and archived treatments do not count, so finishing or tidying up never blocks adding the next one. - **1 Care Episode.** This is one per household for the lifetime of the account, not one at a time — deleting the episode does not restore the allowance. Not available on the free tier: - **Photos on Quick Logs.** Text logs are free; attaching a photo is a paid feature, because image storage is the cost the subscription recovers. - **Sharing with other caregivers.** Creating a family invite requires the paid plan. ## What Holakare Family adds - Unlimited active treatments - Unlimited Care Episodes - Photos on Quick Logs - Inviting other caregivers into the household ## If you cancel Canceling never deletes anything, and it never breaks the household you already have. You keep: - The household itself. Nobody is removed, and every caregiver keeps their login. - Sharing and sync. Every caregiver continues to see the same shared record, and it keeps syncing to every device. - Every photo already uploaded — still viewable. - Every treatment, episode, Quick Log, dose and history entry already recorded, including treatments above the free cap. Editing narrows to the household's original owner. The owner keeps full access — editing, correcting, and deleting, including marking a Quick Log entered-in-error. Any other caregiver becomes read-only until the owner renews: they can see everything, but not change it. A single-caregiver household is unaffected, since its only member is already the owner. You lose only the ability to create new gated records, for every member, owner included: - No new caregiver invites. Existing members stay. - No new photo uploads on Quick Logs. - No new Care Episodes — and note the free allowance is once per household lifetime, so if you used it before subscribing, there is no free episode to fall back to. - No new active treatments beyond 2, until you finish, stop or archive down below the cap. This describes what the app does today. The [Terms of Service](https://holakare.com/terms/) govern — including what eventually happens to a household that has no subscription and whose members have all been inactive for a long time. ## Availability The iOS app is in development and is **not currently on the App Store**. Holakare requires iOS 18.0 or later and includes an Apple Watch companion app. There is no Android version. ## Not a medical device Holakare is a tool for organizing care. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always rely on a qualified healthcare professional; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
