I built the first version for one caregiver managing medicines for several people. Work on it began in March 2015.
About Holakare
I couldn't keep track of my family's medicines by hand.
I’m Armando. In 2015, I was trying to remember which medications my family had taken and when. I kept getting it wrong, so I started building GetWell. Holakare is the rebuild. Each caregiver has their own sign-in and sees the same household record.
From GetWell to Holakare
GetWell reached the App Store.
One caregiver could track medicines for several people. I worked on that version through 2019.
I rebuilt it as Holakare.
The record now belongs to a household. Caregivers sign in separately and see the same patients, treatments, doses and care notes.
What if someone else gives the next dose?
GetWell worked best when one person did the tracking. When someone else takes over, they need to know whether a dose was already logged. Holakare puts that history in a household record each caregiver can see with their own sign-in.
